Exercise bike? Just a few questions? I'll pick best answer.?
OK so i just got an excersize bike. its a vitamaster. The kind with the fan..Anyways i was just wondering how often and how long i should use the excersize bike to get in shape. Also it says how many calories are burned. how many have to be burned to be sufficient? it also tells me the distance...how far should i go?

you should exercise at least a half hour a day, and i would suggest an extra half hour every other day. and at a very min a half hour every other day.
the average person eats about 2,000 calories daily. if you really want to loose weight, you should burn about 1,500 daily.
the distance all depends on how fast and vigorous you ride. obviously the less vigorous you ride the longer you should stay on and vice versa. but between 2 and 2 1/2 miles vigorously ridden every day should be ok.
the arms are one of the easiest places to tone. thats why they are showing the most improvement the quickest. the thighs, abdomen, butt and hips are some of the hardest and will take more time.
also, make sure your drinking lots of water and eating a healthy balanced diet. this will help you to shed the pounds quicker and more efficiently!!
