Pregnancy Exercise & Health Advice
If you've just found out you're pregnant you're going to need to change the way you view your health, whether you're usually down the gym every day at the crack of dawn or whether you last did any exercise when you were back at school things need to change. It's vital that you do exercise when you're pregnant but at the same time the types of exercise you do needs to have some careful consideration. Vibration plates are not advisable for pregnant women as these can damage the cervix wall which could in turn damage the baby. There are other perfectly safe forms of exercise other than exercise plates. Try to choose exercises that aren't going to have too much impact like swimming. Swimming is nice gentle exercise that puts no pressure on the baby and can even be very relaxing for the mother. Following the same logic an exercise bike is also very particle for pregnant women as there's no impact and it strengthens the heart.
Before you do any exercise it's essential that you warm up properly so you get your body ready for a work out. Never push your body too hard, if you're in any pain or discomfort you need to stop exercising straight away and if the pain continues you need to call your doctor. You've also got the added bonus of finding it easier to shift the baby weight after the birth if you've been exercising throughout the pregnancy. You're going to have a small child to run after soon so you'll need to be in the best shape possible.
