500 calorie diet... effective? Or stupid?
I know this sounds ridiculous, but I simply need to get this extra weight off of me. I've been trying for weeks. I'm a model, and have a casting coming up. I just do not have the time to wait patiently, losing only 1 pound a week. I don't feel like exercising (all I've got is a stupid recumbant bike) and it's winter, so I can't do anything outdoors. I know it's extreme, and probably unhealthy if I were to use it long term, but I need the weight of ASAP. I figure a 500 calorie diet could achieve that. Once the weight was off, it would be cake to keep it off. Just gradually increase calorie intake, bit by bit until I was eating a healthy amount again. Only thing is, I've heard that such a restrictive diet fails because it kills your metabolism. Is this true? How long 'till the weight loss would stop?
Thanks for your time.
That would be stupid
Don't do it
