Why does my butt always feel sore after using the exercise bike at the gym?
Is it because that's where it's burning (meaning the exercise is effective) or does it just mean I'm not sitting in the proper position?
This happens when I've been on the bike for even just 15 minutes...
lol... I doubt I am getting hemorrhoids... this is only the third day I have used the exercise bike (and I've never use it for more than 20 minutes) and my butt is sore on the sides.... not any where else
This is soooo normal! I started taking some spinning classes in January and holy cow, talk about being so sore down there! I took 1 hour classes and it was bad! I went 3 times a week and each time, I felt really bruised! After about 2 weeks it went away and now, I can go, do speedwork and all kinds of things and have no pain at all, if anything this has been the best thing for toning by butt! All of my friends who spin have said the same thing. Most people give up on those cycling because they are so sore down there, but hang on, it's using muscles your not used to using. You can buy a padded seat or you could buy padded shorts but I, personally think if you just suck it up for 2 weeks you'd be fine and see some great results!
