Need to tone - Will this work?
I'm female, 5"4, 153 lbs. I have a ratio of 40-30-42.Do you think this is bad?
I know I'm proportionate (or am I - are my circumferences out of proportion with my height?), but I want to tone up significantly, especially my upper arms and legs, and bulging belly. I want this to happen as soon as possible, however I do not expect a miracle overnight - I'm not unrealistic.
At the moment, I've started to do between 100 - 200 crunches a day, 15 minutes on my exercise bike (which the handles move as if on a cross trainer) and 5 minutes of the technique where you lie on your back and move your legs in the air as if on a bike.
Will this be effective? All opinions will be appreciate, harsh or otherwise. Spam won't be.

First of all, your weight shouldn't really matter when it comes to being "proportionate" at all with your height, because as you probably already know, muscle weighs more than fat. So really, I don't think it's bad.
I've been doing judo for about a year and a half, so I know--more or less--about toning and such. Doing between 100-200 crunches a day is hard enough already for just about anyone, combined with the bike-on-your-back excercise is a fast way to tone your abs and flatten your stomach. Most people don't do that much abdominal work in a week!
The excercise bike is a good way to tighten the muscles in both your calves and your thighs, especially when you're pedaling fast, and doing it every day should do the trick
.
As another tip, maybe adding a little more variety could help too. You're doing these things every day, which is VERY good, but maybe you could switch out some days to work your muscles in different ways, like going for a run will train your legs to do more than just make circular motions :], or yoga every now and then to work on your balance AND your abs.
And don't forget to stretch!
